A dancer as well as a teacher, choreographer and pioneering researcher, Julie Bougard and her company have been performing her creations for more than twenty years.
In this new project, the creator intends
“to confront virtual bodies with living bodies” by means of the world of video games.
“This creation observes the power of attraction of virtual dances, games with roles, and their transfer to a real world.”
 The relationship between man and
machine, power and freedom, love and
hate, the rational and irrational, the poetic and mathematical: in Stream Dream, there will be two dancer-pawns, with the games themselves becoming protagonists who express themselves, get worked up, issue orders and even “bug”. ”The mistakes and bugs in the game are premonitions of the drama to come, in a world in which machines will increasingly be part of what we are and the way we think, feel and see the world.”
